Will my website be backed up?

Host Local backs up all servers daily, weekly and monthly with backups retained for up to 60 days. In the event of a disaster recovery situation we will restore all customer websites to the latest backup as soon as possible. Unfortunately, this recovery process is not readily available for individual customers in the event they inadvertently delete some content from their site.

If you don’t have your own backup and request us to restore from our most recent server backup there is a charge of $160/hour and the restore process can take between 4 and 5 hours to complete.

Plugins exist that allow you to backup your entire site and we would strongly recommend our customers look into this for their own backup strategy. We use and recommend a plugin called All-in-One WP Migration.
